Personal data constitutes information relating to the personal or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. If you apply to us electronically, i.e. via email or via our web form, we collect and process your personal data for the purpose of handling the application process and carrying out pre-contractual measures.
By submitting an application via our recruiting site, you express your interest in taking up employment with us. In this context, you provide us with personal data, which we use and store exclusively for the purpose of your job application.

Only authorized employees from the HR department or employees involved in the application process have access to your data.
The storage of personal data is carried out exclusively for the purpose of filling the vacant position for which you have applied.
Your data will be stored for a period of 30 days beyond the completion of the application process. This is generally done to fulfill legal obligations or to defend against potential claims under statutory provisions. Thereafter, we are obliged to delete or anonymize your data. In this case, the data will only be available to us as so-called metadata without direct personal reference for statistical evaluations (e.g. proportion of male/female applicants, number of applications per period, etc.).
Furthermore, we reserve the right to store your data for inclusion in our “talent pool” for 3 months after completion of the application process in order to identify further suitable positions for you. This also applies, for example, to applications for internships or trainee positions. By accepting this privacy policy, you consent to the extended storage of your data and inclusion in our “talent pool.”
If, as part of the application process, you receive and accept an offer of employment from us, we will store the personal data collected during the application process at least for the duration of the employment relationship.
Transfer of Data to Third Parties
The data you submit as part of your application is transmitted using TLS encryption and stored in a database. This database is operated by Personio GmbH, which offers HR management and applicant tracking software (https://www.personio.de/impressum/). In this context, Personio acts as our data processor in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. The basis for the processing is a data processing agreement between us as the controller and Personio.We provide you with this privacy policy, which relates exclusively to the data collected in the context of the online application process, in order to inform you how we handle your personal data collected as part of the application process.
